Friends of Celebrating Patsy Cline

Winchester — Patsy Cline fans have a chance to help preserve her music legacy by becoming a member of Friends of Celebrating Patsy Cline.

Forms to join the Friends group are available at the Patsy Cline Historic House, as well as online at www.celebratingpatsycline.org.  You can also download a form right here as well. Annual fees, which are tax deductible, start at $15 for an individual, $25 for a couple, and $50 and above for a contributor.

Be a part of the future as well as helping to preserve the past of this iconic singer and Winchester native who is well-known throughout the world. She was born Virginia Patterson Hensley Sept. 8, 1932 in the Winchester area.

The Patsy Cline Historic House has become a Virginia tourist attraction since it opened six years ago. The house opened April 1st for the 2017 season and will remain open through the end of October.

Celebrating Patsy Cline Inc. is a 501c3 organization that owns and runs the Patsy Cline Historic House at 608 S. Kent St., Winchester. The house was where Cline developed as a singer.  She signed her first record contract while living there, and it was the location of her preparations for the Arthur Godfrey Show in 1957. She was voted the winner of the national talent show.
